Leaders Libertad host Sol de América
This Sunday, Paraguayan First Division leaders Libertad welcome Sol de America to the Estadio Dr. Nicolás Léoz, hoping to maintain their unbeaten start.
It will not be an easy match for the ‘Gumarelos’ since they come from playing an international match during the week in the Copa Libertadores. Despite drawing against The Strongest, a long trip to Bolivia will be tiring and the team will have had little time to recover.
One of the injured players for the next match will be defender Matías Espinoza, who had to be replaced in the Thursday night match against the Bolivian team. Libertad will hope that Julio César Enciso can find the net once more as he is the league’s top goalscorer with nine goals in eight games so far.
Libertad’s closest rivals in the league, Cerro Porteño, also earned a draw in the Copa Libertadores against Olimpia and have some casualties for their visit to General Caballero.
