Man Utd Manager David Moyes Insists He Is The Right Man For The Job

David Moyes insists he remains the right man for the Manchester United job. United have made their worst league start for 24 years following last weekend’s shock defeat at home to West Brom, but Moyes, who replaced Sir Alex Ferguson during the summer, insists his employers have made the correct decision in giving him a six-year deal. Speaking ahead of Sunderland vs. Man Utd in the Premier League on Saturday evening, Moyes said: “Manchester United is a good club, I am sure they know they picked the right man for the job. “Sir Alex was part of that process as well.” United lie 12th in the Premier League ahead of this weekend’s game at the Stadium of Light, but they earned a 1-1 draw from a tough Champions League game away to Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday night. And Moyes added: “It’s a long season. We’ll hang in there and get ourselves as close to the top as soon as we can.
