World-renowned coach Marcelo Bielsa could be heading for a sensational return to Mexico following his sacking by English Premier League side Leeds United.
The Argentine, who guided Leeds to promotion and then impressive survival on their return to the top flight, was given the boot back in February.
And as he ponders his next move, it has been reported that C.D. Guadalajara are interested in bringing Bielsa back to Mexico, where he spent nearly three years as head coach of Atlas and Club America in the early 1990s.
The club are said to have already made a formal offer to Bielsa after sacking Marcelo Michel Leano in April, although caretaker boss Ricardo Cadena has guided Chivas to four straight wins in the Clausura.
But Bielsa is thought to be studying the recent games of C.D. Guadalajara to see if they are the right team with which to make his coaching return.
