Norwich vs. Chelsea takes place this afternoon in the Premier League.

Chelsea playmaker Juan Mata will be hoping for another chance to impress manager Jose Mourinho and says he is happy to adapt to the Portuguese’s new tactics.

Mata has started just four of Chelsea’s 10 matches this season despite being named as the club’s player of the year in the previous campaign.

Speaking ahead of the trip to Norwich, the 25-year-old said of adjusting to Mourinho’s demands: “I have to do this. I will try to improve, score goals, assist and do what I have to do. I’m not the kind of man that gets down.

Mata netted 20 times in 64 games last season for Chelsea but is yet to score this season, and Mourinho has told the Spaniard to “transform a few things in his game”.

“It’s important to play with the ball and without the ball, but I’m very happy and looking forward to playing a lot of games throughout the season.”
