Paulo Dybala’s transfer saga looks set to come to an end

Paulo Dybala shocked the footballing world when just a few months ago he announced that after seven seasons with Juventus he would be leaving the club.

Unable to find a contract solution with Juve, Dybala’s availability put several top clubs from across Europe on alert with the likes of Tottenham, Arsenal, Roma and Inter Milan all keen on bringing the Argentine to their respective clubs.

After numerous reports of where Dybala would end up, it looks like Inter have won the race for his signature – and it’s a deal that makes sense for everybody involved.

Due to the delicate financial position that Inter find themselves in, making improvements to their squad on a tight budget is going to prove difficult. Therefore, the signing of Dybala on a free transfer looks to be an excellent piece of business.

For Dybala, staying in a league he knows and has excelled in makes complete sense. Dybala has struggled with injuries over recent seasons and staying in Italy rather than the more physical Premier League could be a shrewd move on his part.
