Orense travel to Barcelona de Ecuador

After their crushing Copa Sudamericana victory against Montevideo Wanderers, Barcelona are looking to continue its winning streak against Orense.

Barcelona’s Argentinian coach Jorge Célico, said during a press conference that, against Orense, he was planning to alternate players due to the large number of matches they have faced recently. So after defeating Montevideo Wanderers 4-2 in Group A of the Copa Sudamericana, a rotation of substitutes is expected.

Orense will look to take advantage of the fact that Barcelona may not have all its star players available. They hope to achieve a victory that will push the team away from the relegation zone. The team of the City of Machala are four games unbeaten and can be a tough opponent for Barcelona.

Six points behind Barcelona are Emelec, Independiente del Valle and Liga Universitaria de Quito. All three are already hoping for a miracle to catch the leaders. Emelec will visit Deportivo Cuenca, Independiente will host Guayaquil City and Quito will visit the newly promoted Cumbayá.
