Brazilian bantamweight star Ketlen Vieira is hoping to extend her winning streak when she wages war with former champion Holly Holm in the main event of UFC Fight Night 206 this Saturday in Las Vegas.
The 30-year-old native from Amazonas, who is coming off a unanimous decision victory against former champ Miesha Tate, said that she is extremely focused on her meeting with Holm.
Vieira currently holds an impressive 12-2 (win-loss) record, with her only defeats coming against Irene Aldana and Yana Kunitskaya.
“A fight is never easy. We prepare a lot but anything can happen, especially in front of another great athlete. There is no easy fight and no comfort zone where I am now,” Vieira said.
However, Vieira is keen on putting on a great performance this weekend as she looks to secure an opportunity to fight for the title.
“I trained a lot and prepared a lot, as always, and I believe in myself and in God. God only knows how my hand will be raised, but I will do everything, and I will do my best to make it happen,” Vieira added.
