Donovan Mitchell has finished his 5th season as a Utah Jazz player and he is still looking for his first breakthrough in the Playoffs. His team made the Postseason on each occasion, but they always came up short winning one series at most. They came really close to reaching the Conference Finals in 2022 when they lost to the Nuggets in Game 7 after a missed buzzer-beater by Mike Conley.
Mitchell has been loyal to his team so far, but his ambitions are high, while the Jazz are struggling to come up with a solution to their problems. On top of everything else, the shooting guard has been playing on a high level throughout his last years in the League. His efforts were far than enough for anything else than a Playoffs appearance. He has been involved in trade rumors lately as the Miami Heat seem likely to be his next destination. Tyler Herro might be included in such a deal as the 22-year-old prospect looks unhappy in Florida. He has been named Sixth Man of the Year this past season, but misfortune struck him as he picked up an unpleasant injury in the Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics.
