Community Shield – Arsenal FC vs. Chelsea FC kick-off time

Arsenal vs. Chelsea takes place this afternoon in the 2015 Community Shield.

The game, which takes place at Wembley Stadium, is scheduled to kick off at 15:00 BST and airs live in the United Kingdom on BT Sport 2/BT Sport 2 HD.

Speaking ahead of the game, Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has said that both Diego Costa and Gary Cahill will be fit to face the Gunners at Wembley.

The pair had been doubts for the game after they were injured in the side’s pre-season fixture against Barcelona in the United States in midweek, but Mourinho expects both to play.

And the Blues boss also insists the traditional fixture between the FA Cup holders and the Premier League champions is more than just a friendly.

“I think it’s in between,” Mourinho told reporters.

“It’s more than a friendly, like with Barcelona or PSG, but it’s less than a league game. Different motivation.”

Mourinho’s men have not been beaten by Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal in 13 attempts, but the Chelsea boss denied the fixture had special significance, even allowing for the fact that the Gunners are likely to name former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech in their starting line-up.

“I’ve never made a special thing about wins over Arsenal,” he added.

“I don’t explode with happiness when I beat them and I won’t make a drama when I lose.”
