Brooklyn Nets Ben Simmons Injury Update

The Brooklyn Nets find themself in a 2-0 hole but are coming back home now and hopefully have some help waiting for them. Reports suggest that Ben Simmons will make his debut in game four of the series.

Many have said there should be concern about putting Simmons back in the lineup without having prior experience playing with the Nets team. Yet, with the Nets down 2-0 in the series, it is kind of what do you have to lose situation. The hope is that the Nets find a way to win game three and are bolstered by Simmons’s return in game four.

In the first two games of the series, the Celtic’s two stars, Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum combined, are averaging 47.5 points per game. The Nets could desperately use Simmons as a guy who can potentially take turns guarding either one of those two. No Nets player has over six assists in the series where Ben Simmons is averaging 7.7 assists per game over his career, so he could also be a big help as a distributor on offense.
