Grizzlies claw a game back to avoid elimination

Grizzlies take Game 5

Many thought the Grizzlies’ chances of reaching the Western Conference Finals were over but last night they showed their grit and determination as they absolutely blew the Warriors squad out of the water. In front of their home fans, the Grizzlies were able to beat the Golden State team 134-95 to the delight of the Tennesse crowd. The Warriors did not seem to show up last night as even with their full strength squad they just seemed to have released their foot off the pedal. Memphis, still without newly crowned Most Improved Player Ja Morant, showed the Warriors who was boss and spectacular performances from the roster sealed the deal and saved them from getting eliminated in the series.

Three players on the Memphis team were able to score 21 points, that being; Jackson Jr, Jones and Bane which cemented their victory against series favourites. The standout player in the game was definitely Jackson Jr as well as his 21 points, he was able to pick up 8 rebounds and 2 blocks.

The Grizzlies really proved to the league with this game that you should never count the Memphis team out.
