DJ Khaled steals the show as Heat blowout the Sixers

Heat win Game 5

What a night it was in Miami for the Heat. The team appeared to breeze past the 76ers team with ease and beat them comfortably with a final score of 120-85. The Heat definitely had Philly’s number last night as on both sides of the court they were dominated by the South-Beach-based squad. It was a great night for Jimmy Butler who was a monster on both offense and defense. He managed to finish the game with 23 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists showing that he can still compete at the highest level.

The Heat outplayed the Sixers in every way possible and even 76ers coach Doc Rivers said after the match that “every they did tonight was harder and better.” It was an incredibly physical game and there were scares that Joel Embiid would worsen his injury after a collision with Dwayne Dedmon. Embiid has been wearing a mask due to an injury he received in the previous round against the Raptors and many fans thought Embiid would have had to sit out the games against the Heat. The African big man however seems determined to really give it his all and show Philly fans that they should still “trust the process”.

Despite a great performance from the Heat, this was overshadowed by long-serving Heat fan, DJ Khaled giving coach Erik Spoelstra a massage on the sideline. It seems wherever this man goes, the cameras always ends up on him.
