St Lucia Zouks vs. Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel – Live Stream and Caribbean Premier League Match Preview

St Lucia Zouks take on Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel later today in the second match of the Caribbean Premier League 2015.

The game is scheduled to start at 21:00 BST.

Preview:
The sides will embark on the third edition of the tournament will of confidence with both sides well stocked in terms of players and combinations ahead of the big day.

The Zouks have been buoyed by the news of Kevin Pietersen’s availability through the entirety of the tournament. Pietersen had been sacked from the England team by the ECB last year and his hopes of making an international comeback were dashed when Andrew Strauss became the new ECB director in May.

England always schedule tournaments during the time that most of the Twenty20 leagues across the world are in action and hence, their players more often than not missed out on these competitions. For this edition of the CPL though, England’s loss has proved to be St. Lucia’s gain.

Besides Pietersen, the hosts also have an extremely competitive cricketer in the form of Darren Sammy in their ranks. Sammy can be handy with the ball while his hitting with the bat is something that most teams will be acutely aware of. With Kemar Roach, Fidel Edwards, and Shane Shillingford in their ranks and Ross Taylor to join once New Zealand’s tour of England is over, the Zouks will be confident indeed.

Trinidad and Tobago Red Steels have an excellent side for this upcoming edition of the CPL. They drafted in the likes of Jacques Kallis, Kamran Akmal, Johan Botha, and Derone Davis only recently to add to their already potent mix of cricketers.

The side boast of Darren and Dwayne Bravo and the elder of the two has moulded himself into one of the best players in T20 cricket. Kevon Cooper can also be handy with the bat while Sulieman Benn and Samuel Badreee will back themselves to make life difficult for the opposition.
