Buenos Aires celebrates 9z’s entry into PGL Major Antwerp 2022

Buenos Aires celebrates team 9z’s success

Buenos Aires, the capital city of Argentina, celebrated the success of its esports team 9z by lighting up the obelisk in 9z colors. The vibrant display of encouragement came after 9z qualified for the PGL Major Antwerp 2022 for Counter-Strike:Global Offensive (CS:GO).

The obelisk is one of Argentina’s main historical monuments. It was built to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Buenos Aires. The renowned Argentine architect, Alberto Prebisch, was among those responsible for designing the obelisk.

The victory didn’t come easy for 9z. After facing defeat against the CS:GO teams MIBR and Evil Geniuses, 9z was close to being eliminated from the tournament. However, 9z managed to take charge and won consecutive matches against Bad News Bears, 00 Nation, and paiN to qualify for the PGL Major Antwerp 2022.

The CS:GO roster of 9z includes max, rox, dgt, Luken, and dav1d. Max is the in-game leader of 9z and has played a pivotal role in their ongoing winning streak. 9z has made over $142,000 in earnings from CS:GO tournaments around the world.
