MLG Winter Championships underway in Columbus, Ohio

The best Starcraft 2 players in the world are in Columbus, Ohio to take part in the 2012 Major League Gaming Pro Circuit Winter Championships.
The best in the world at Starcraft 2, Halo:Reach, Mortal Kombat, Soul Caliber V, and King of Fighter XIII, headed to Ohio to compete for the MLG trophy, with more than $200,000 in prizes up for grabs.
Over 1,000 of the world’s best players have travelled from Europe, South America, and Asia to compete, while the Winter Championships are also offering an Uncharted 3 tournament as an exhibition event.
Every player who has made it through to the finals of the Major League Pro Circuit World Championships qualified by winning one of the various semi-finals that took place worldwide.
Starcraft 2 players were chosen after their performances at the Winter Arena at the MLG headquarters in New York.
