Blackburn Rovers vs. Bolton Wanderers – Live Stream, Team News and Championship Match Preview

Blackburn vs. Bolton takes place tonight in the Championship.

The game takes place at Ewood Park and is scheduled to start at 19:45 BST.

In the UK, the game airs live on Sky Sports 1/Sky Sports 1 HD and online (see here), while outside of the UK, you can watch and bet on live Championship football with 365.

Team News:

Blackburn hope striker Jordan Rhodes (ankle) will return after missing the last two matches.

Adam Henley and Jason Lowe (both illness) are available, but Chris Taylor (groin) and Chris Brown (knee) remain sidelined.

Bolton will assess captain Darren Pratley (ankle) ahead of kick-off.

Derik Osede (ankle) and Liam Trotter (hamstring) are both doubts.

What they’ve said ahead of kick-off:

Blackburn manager Gary Bowyer (on Jordan Rhodes): “We are going to give Jordan Rhodes as long as possible. He has made inroads this week, the lad is desperate to get back and is working ever so hard.

“It has taken a little bit longer than what we had hoped, but at the same time it could have been a lot worse as he could have been out for months such was the challenge.”

Bolton manager Neil Lennon: “The match will be exactly what you expect from a local derby. It will be tough, it will be physical and I don’t think there will be much in it between the teams.

“We’ve got a lot of experience on our side as well as our younger players – being under the lights and in front of the TV cameras, that always adds a little extra something and a bit of spice to the game.

“It’s a match that we can really get our teeth into – we haven’t had great results there on our last few trips, but we’re focusing on what we have now and Friday is a new game.

“It’s important that we start well and get a foothold in the game, but I’m confident that we’ll do just that.”
