The Minnesota Twins smash the Detroit Tigers for a 7th straight victory

Surprisingly, the Minnesota Twins are the team in the best shape towards the end of April. They recorded a seventh straight win in the 2022 MLB season, dismantling the Detroit Tigers for a third consecutive time in Target Field, Minneapolis. The Twins had been struggling in the beginning as they were looking at a 4-8 record, before turning in hot in the last days of the month.

The team from Minnesota managed to outplay the Kansas City Royals which gave them the much-needed confidence to go past the Chicago White Sox as well. They have proven their dominance with two fantastic performances against the Tigers as they scored 11 runs while at the same time conceding only one. In their last meeting, Detroit’s defense collapsed in the fifth inning as the Twins took a demanding 6-1 lead.

Their winning streak is a huge surprise for the MLB community since they haven’t been considered a title contender in the beginning of the season. However, their odds of winning the World Series remain slim to none as most bookmakers give them a 35:1 chance of lifting the trophy.
