Tari Eason had a terrific season after he left Cincinatti for Louisanna State University. As a power forward he is able to shoot the rock, create his own shots and attack the basket directly, which makes him a likely pick in the lottery. His attacking prowess isn’t all Eason has to offer, however, as he’s an excellent defender and maintains a good position when guarding the opposition. For LSU this season he put up an impressive 16.9 PPG, 6.6 RPG and 1 APG.
His current role for LSU has been that of a sixth man and many analysts can see him adopting this role on his venture into the NBA. Many players want to get straight into the starting lineup, but Eason has appeared comfortable coming off the bench and doing whatever it takes for his team to win.
The San Antonio Spurs would be a good fit for Eason and with the coaching from Greg Popovich and one of the greatest power forwards to ever play the game, Tim Duncan, it’s impossible to know how good Eason could be in a few years.
