Aldosivi win at Lanús to move up to third place

Aldosivi came back from a goal down to get the three points against bottom of the table side Lanús.

Lanús scored after three minutes through Lautaro Acosta to take an early lead. Their lead didn’t last long as Aldosivi hit back on nine minutes, and scored a second two minutes later. Martin Palermo’s team held on to the lead and kept it until the end of the match. Their goals were scored by Uruguayan striker Martín Cauteruccio and the former Lanús player, Leandro Maciel.

With four victories in a row, Aldosivi moved into third position level on points with Tigre and Boca Juniors. They are all two points behind Group B leaders Estudiantes. On the other hand, the defeat of Lanus is not a surprise since the team has only six points and remain last in the table.

Aldosivi will hope to keep their good run going in their next match which is against Rosario Central.
