Liverpool and United have been linked with Pedro on a number of occasions over the past couple of years and according to reports in Spain are still showing interest, while Arsenal are reportedly considering making a summer swoop for the 26-year-old. The Spain international, who is currently preparing for the 2014 World Cup, insists he is only thinking about playing well in Brazil over the next month, although he has refused to rule out a move away from Camp Nou. “I’m not sure what’s going to happen, I’m relaxed and concentrating on the team [Spain] and the World Cup,” Pedro was quoted as saying by Marca. “When I need to decide something, I’ll talk to the club and we’ll see what happens. “But I’m relaxed and I don’t know anything, I’ll carry on concentrating on the team and on playing well in the World Cup.” Pedro also commented on the treatment of team-mate Cesc Fabregas, who is set to leave Barcelona this summer and is a target for several Premier League clubs, with Chelsea favourites to sign the 27-year-old. “I don’t really understand it, he’s such a great player who plays really well for us. I haven’t talked about it with him – he’s happy and focusing on the team. If he goes, it’ll be a real shame for Barca,” he added. “People have the right to judge every now and then, but for me as a team-mate it doesn’t make sense. Cesc always gave 100 per cent, he’s had a great season and his stats are good for goals and assists. “We didn’t have a successful season because we didn’t win anything, but I don’t understand why all the criticism is directed at one player. Cesc is professional and he’s always shown it.”
