Jose Mourinho: Chelsea FC not out of title picture

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says his side remain in the Premier League title race despite losing twice in four games.
The reigning champions were beaten 2-1 at home by Crystal Palace on Saturday, leaving them eight points adrift of league leaders Manchester City, who have won four out of four without conceding a goal.
However, Mourinho will not rule his side out of the title reckoning, despite the Blues having also lost to City and been held to a 2-2 draw by Swansea City on the opening weekend of the new season.
He told reporters: “We have eight points less than the leader and seven and six and five from others. In another league I would say game over.
“In the Premier League I don’t say game over, because last season we had seven points to second (place) and in one month we lost the seven points. On January 1st we were on the same points as the second.
“This is the Premier League and I think it’s getting more difficult than before. The reality is that we had a bad start. Four points in four matches is a very bad start.”
As well as their struggles in the league, Chelsea also began their campaign with a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal in the Community Shield.
Their next challenge, following an international break, is a tough trip to Goodison Park to take on Everton on September 12th, before a visit from the Gunners a week later.
