Premier League Fixtures For Wednesday January 4th 2012

There are two games taking place tonight in the Premier League, with Manchester United in action.

Both of Wednesday’s Premiership games take place at 8pm.

At St James’ Park, Newcastle United play host to Man Utd in a fixture that rarely disappoints.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s side, who are still unbeaten away from home this season in the league, travel to Tyneside looking to again go level on points with rivals Manchester City at the top of the table.

City won 3-0 at home to Liverpool on Tuesday night to go three points clear.

A win for Newcastle tonight would see them close the gap on fourth place Chelsea to just four points as they look to continue their good run of form from the first half of the season.

Tonight’s other fixture takes place at Goodison Park where Everton host Bolton.

David Moyes’ side can move into the top half of the table by taking all three points against the visitors, who start the day rock bottom.

A win for Owen Coyle’s Trotters will see them remain in the relegation zone, although they would move off the bottom.

Crunchsports.com will have team news and full coverage of both games online throughout the day!
