A day of destiny awaits South American players ahead of the vital North London Derby

Crucial North London Derby awaits

The North London Derby is always a fixture to get excited about, but today’s fixture is one of the biggest derbies in recent years.

It’s the Gunners who head into the match with the advantage and Arsenal knows that a win against their bitterest of rivals will see them secure Champions League football for next season.

For hosts Tottenham, a win will see the gap to Arsenal reduced to just a point. This will be Antonio Conte’s first-ever North London Derby and remarkably the first North London Derby played at full capacity at Tottenham’s new stadium.

Both sides have South Americans who are bound to have a say in the match.

For the hosts, both Cristian Romero and Rodrigo Bentancur will be relying on their big match experience to hopefully steer their side to three points.

For Arsenal, they will be hoping that center-back Gabriel can continue his recent good performances in both boxes, whilst Gabriel Martinelli who has shown he can thrive in the big matches will have added responsibility with the potential absence of Bukayo Shaka.

The match will be played in a fever pitch atmosphere and could be one of the matches of the season.

Which way it goes is anyone’s guess!
