Michigan State can be backed at 9/1 to win the NCAA crown this season. Although the Spartans (10-5, 23-5 overall) trail Indiana, Maryland and Iowa in the Big Ten standings, they have won three in a row and seven of their last eight games. Tom Izzo’s boys will face Penn State, Rutgers and Ohio State in their last final three outings. Michigan last won the NCAA Tournament in 2000. The next favorite to win the 2016 NCAA crown is Oklahoma featuring scoring machine Buddy Hield. The Sooners can be backed at 9/1 to win their first ever NCAA championship. Oklahoma will next play Texas, Baylor and Texas Christian. The other top contenders for the NCAA title this season are North Carolina (10/1), Kentucky (11/1) and AP and USA Today top seeds Villanova (12/1).
