Brett Hundley Signs With Ravens

Lamar Jackson is missing from the Baltimore Ravens’ voluntary OTAs, and his absence has provided another quarterback with an opportunity.

On Thursday, the NFL Network reported that the Baltimore Ravens have signed quarterback Brett Hundley for some extra help under centre. The Ravens already employ two other backup quarterbacks, Tyler Huntley and Anthony Brown. Jackson is also expected to return to the team shortly, so it’s highly doubtful that Hundley will make the Ravens’ regular season roster.

Still, Hundley surely appreciates the chance to collect another NFL paycheck. After graduating from UCLA, Hundley spent the 2016 and 2017 seasons backing up legendary Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. Hundley threw just 39 passes and two touchdowns during his time with the Packers.

Hundley next suited up for the Arizona Cardinals in 2019. He played in three games, throwing seven passes and zero touchdowns. Hundley has not played in an NFL game since.
