NFL Draft Profile RB Kenneth Walker III

Draft Profile Kenneth Walker III

Running back has become a less valued position in the NFL every year. Partly because of their shelf life and partly because it is becoming more common to find great value later in the draft and even in undrafted players. A decade ago, Kenneth Walker III would be an easy top-five pick. Yet now it will be interesting to see where exactly he lands.

Pros:
Walker is a stud leading all of college football with a jaw-dropping 89 broken tackles last year, leading all of college football. Walker, at times, but the Michigan State offense on his back. He also has the rare ability to be an in-between-the-tackles runner but still has enough speed to hit the home run, as seen by his 21 20+ yard runs last season.

Cons:
Does he play running back? There really are not any that are worth mentioning.

Overview:
Walker is a day one NFL starter, and if drafted towards the end of the first round on a playoff team, he could be an all-pro in year one.
