Ross Chastain looks like an upgraded driver in 2022

Ross Chastain should be a one to watch in 2022

Being part of the Trackhouse Racing Team doesn’t necessarily mean that one has no chance of winning the championship. The team debuted in NASCAR in 2021 as Daniel Suarez was unable to reach a podium last year as his best result was 4th place in the 2021 Food City Dirt Race in Bristol. Now, with Ross Chastain, the stock car auto racing organization shines bright like a diamond.

Suarez picked up two 4th places in California and Atlanta, while Ross Chastain made an incredible streak in March when he ended up being on the podium in each one of the four races. He brought a victory home with his solid performance at the 2022 Echo Park Texas Grand Prix when he finished ahead of Alex Bowman and Christopher Bell. He finished third in Las Vegas, while in Phoenix and Atlanta, he remained in 2nd place. On top of that, Chastain clinched 5th place at Martinsville Speedway in Ridgeway, Virginia.

Although there is a significant improvement among the drivers in the Trackhouse Racing Team, they are still behind in the overall standings. Ross Chastain sits in 8th place with 250 points, while Daniel Suarez is 16th with 212 points.
