Oregon Ducks Vs Auburn Tigers Score Update Bcs National Championship

Term papers were due on Monday night for NCAA students who chose to major in football.

The Auburn Tigers have won their second national championship as they defeated the Oregon Ducks on Monday night, 22-19. In a game that failed to live up to the billing in terms of scoring, the game lived up to the billing in terms of competitiveness.   The final play of the season in college football came off the foot of Wes Byrum as the Auburn kicker split the uprights as time expired with a chip shot. As a result, final grades to football majors have been awarded: Auburn gets an A+, Oregon gets an A.   Another key play down the stretch involved a botched tackle on Auburn’s Michael Dyer. With Auburn on their final drive, Dyer appeared to be stopped on a play by the Oregon defense however his knee never contacted the turf and, to many player’s surprise, Dyer resumed running – a play that lead to a huge gain for the Tigers.   Oregon, who did not let their fans down as they fought until the end and only lost to a slightly better team, showed some mental toughness in the 4th as they scored a late touchdown in the game and a 2 point convert to tie things up with under 3 minutes to play. However Cam Newton and the Tigers had enough time to orchestrate the final drive that lead to the winning field goal and as a result the BCS National Championship will stay in the SEC.   Final score: Oregon Ducks (12-1): 19 Auburn Tigers (14-0): 22 Oregon scoring: FG + TD Pass (Thomas to James; 2pt convert) + TD Pass (2pt convert) Auburn scoring: TD Pass (Newton to Burns) + Safety + TD Pass (Newton to Blake) + FG + FG
