Necaxa announce partnership with Genius Sports

Liga MX side Necaxa have confirmed they have signed a deal with Genius Sports, who will provide in-depth data analysis.

Genius Sports are a data, technology and broadcast company who have worked with various sports, media and betting organisations.

The agreement will see Genius Sports install its AI and machine-learning cameras at Necaxa’s home stadium, Estadio Victoria. This will capture player data such as speed, expected goal conversion rate and shot velocity.

The coaching staff and players at Necaxa will be able to use the in-depth data to analyse and maximise on-field performances.

Genius Sports will also provide augmented live video feeds to offer supporters an immersive match day experience.
