– Man Utd manager Sir Alex Ferguson has also confirmed to Inside United he wants to sign more players from South America after being linked with a move for Santos striker Neymar.

– Liverpool are ready to replace goalkeeper Pepe Reina in January, according to the Sunday Mirror.

– And Liverpool are keen on making Birmingham and England goalkeeper Jack Butland the long-term successor to Reina at Anfield, according to The People.

– Marouane Fellaini, who has been linked with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United, and Real Madrid, has told Belgian newspaper Het Nieuwsblad he is ready to quit Everton “in January or at the end of the season”.
