Premier League – Tottenham Hotspur vs. Liverpool FC kick-off time

Tottenham vs. Liverpool takes place this lunchtime in the Premier League.

The game, which takes place at White Hart Lane, is scheduled to kick off at 12:45 BST and airs live in the United Kingdom on BT Sport 1/BT Sport 1 HD.

Speaking ahead of the game, new Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has warned that it will take time to change things at the club, while he expects a tough weekend test at Tottenham.

The former Borussia Dortmund head coach takes charge of the Reds for the first time when his new side head to White Hart Lane, to take on a Spurs side unbeaten in the Premier League since the opening weekend of the season.

And Klopp is preparing for a tough baptism in English football, while being happy with the way the Liverpool squad have reacted to his approach in recent days, although reports suggest that England striker Danny Ings will miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury.

“This is not the time to change so much, just to turn the screws a little bit in the right ways,” he told reporters.

“Some things you can change like this, but to get tuned as a team? That takes time.

“We play against a very good Premier League team in Spurs. They are fine-tuned. We have to play like our best dream.

“The boys are really willing to listen and understand what we want. Everything would be better if we worked together for six weeks, but it’s not a perfect world.”

Klopp admitted that summer signings Christian Benteke and Roberto Firmino are set to miss out against Spurs, while also confirming that defender Joe Gomez has suffered a serious knee injury while on England Under-21 duty.

Gomez, who only moved to Anfield in the summer from Charlton Athletic, has suffered cruciate ligament damage and requires an operation which could leave him sidelined for the remainder of his first season with the Reds.
