UFC Update: Oliveira believes he can beat Diaz and McGregor in the same night

Oliveira wants to make UFC history

Brazilian cage warrior Charles Oliveira has not been afraid of speaking his mind, and on Tuesday, he made yet another bold claim.

The 32-year-old Oliveira, who is coming off an impressive submission victory over Justin Gaethje in UFC 274, has made it known that he could knock Conor McGregor out and make Nate Diaz tap on the same night.

Oliveira has mentioned the idea of lucrative fights with both fighters previously, setting his sights on Ireland’s McGregor as early as the UFC 274 post-fight press conference.

“Just for the record, I like to break records, and I want to break another one. Fighting twice in the same night. I can knock Conor out and make Diaz tap,” Oliveira wrote on Twitter on Tuesday night.

McGregor was quick to respond to Oliveira’s claim, with the former going straight to the Brazilian’s jugular and mocking his roots.

On the other hand, Diaz, who said that he would easily choke Oliveira on Monday, has yet to respond to the latter’s claims.
