Club Atlético Colón Resigned to Losing Star Player Facundo Farías

Facundo Farías Poised to Leave Colón

Given the quality of his performances over the last two seasons, it was only a matter of time before Facundo Farías caught the eye of scouts from across the world.

The attacker was a pivotal figure in Club Atlético Colón’s impressive showing in the Argentina Primera División last season, and this time around the 19-year-old has been equally as notable with three goals and as many assists so far.

It seems as if the European football community has been keeping a particularly close eye on Farías’ development, and it has now been reported that Manchester United have joined Roma and Udinese in the hunt for the teenager’s talents.

A move to Europe is likely to be on the agenda for Farías, especially as previous attempts by River Plate and Boca Juniors to tempt him to stay in Argentina were rebuffed by the player and his agent.
