Could Juan Cuadrado make Premier League return?

What next for Cuadrado?

Colombian wing-back Juan Cuadrado has enjoyed a fine playing career and has played for some of Europe’s biggest clubs.

Cuadrado who has played for Juventus for the past seven seasons finds himself out of contract with the Italian giants at the end of the season and the option of the Colombian extending his stay at the Italian club looks unlikely.

Cuadrado who is entering the twilight of his career will have plenty of options both on the European continent and back home in South America. However, early reports indicate that at the front of the queue could be Tottenham.

Antonio Conte and Spurs Director of Football Fabio Paratici know Cuadrado well and the quality that he can bring to any side.

Tottenham are widely in the market for a new right-wing-back following the struggles of Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty.

Bringing Cuadrado in on a free transfer on a short-term deal would bring another experienced defender and a player that would fit into Conte’s wing-back system.

Whether Cuadrado believes he can still handle the Premier League at this stage of his career is something to monitor over the next few months.
