It has been an up and down season for Brazilian star Neymar. Plagued by injury, football fans all over the world haven’t been able to see enough of the trio of Kylian Mpabbe, Lionel Messi and Neymar together. However, as the season draws to a close the three are now fit and look to be fully firing.
With the Ligue 1 title now almost in the bag, PSG had to overcome a stubborn Clermont side who found themselves just above the relegation zone before kickoff. Locked at 1-1 at halftime, it looked set to be another frustrating evening for the Paris based side. The match flipped in the 72nd minute after PSG were awarded a penalty. Neymar who scored the game’s first goal stepped up to convert it and give PSG a 2-1 lead.
A third goal would quickly follow for Neymar who with his three goals in the match has now scored ten league goals this season.
After a troubled season, Neymar will want to stay fit ahead of what will be his last World Cup for Brazil.
