Lautoro Martinez fires Inter Milan to first Coppa Italia final in over a decade

Martinez scored two as Inter beat AC Milan

Inter Milan have reached their first Coppa Italia final in 11 years thanks to a 3-0 victory over bitter rivals AC Milan.

The damage was done in the first half with Argentinian forward Lautoro Martinez doing the damage with two well taken goals. The first was special as Martinez latched onto a cross to hit a stunning first-time volley into the net.

The two goals from Martinez saw his tally for the season move to 18 with the hitman now scoring 4 in his last 6 games.

Much has been made of what will happen to Martinez in the summer. Inter who are still trying to get back to a financial even footing are rumored to be needing to sell one of their star men. Martinez who is still just 24, seems to be the most likely star to leave the club this summer.

As you would expect with someone who has a knack for scoring vital goals there are a host of clubs interested in securing his services. Tottenham, Arsenal, and Newcastle all harbor hopes of bringing Martinez to England but according to sources close to the player, a move to La Liga would be his preference. Reportedly Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are keen to secure his services.
