Serie A giants battle it out for Agustin Alvarez’s signature

Serie A clubs keen on Alvarez’s signature

Young Uruguayan striker Agustin Alvarez is reportedly on the radar of Fiorentina, Inter, and AC Milan.

The forward, who is still just 20 currently plies his trade in Uruguay for club side Penarol.

Alvarez who has scored one goal for his country, rose to prominence last season after scoring 23 goals in 40 appearances as he helped Penarol win a record 51st title.

Alvarez who looks to have a promising future ahead of him could be a bargain with the Uruguayan side pricing their prize forward at around €16 million.

Fiorentina has money to spend following the sale of Dusan Vlahovic to Juventus, Inter will be in the market for a striker with Lautoro Martinez rumored to be leaving the club. AC have also thrown their hat into the ring with the futures of both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud looking unclear.

With some of the world’s biggest strikers on the move, this summer Alvarez could prove to be a bargain as he looks to take the next step in his career.
