Mens 2022 Volleyball World Championships

After the event was shifted from Russia due to the conflict in Ukraine, the FIVB and Volleyball World have confirmed that Poland and Slovenia will host the relocated FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship 2022 with other European countries potentially joining at a later date.

After Volleyball World opened an accelerated bidding process last month, many world-class volleyball destinations stepped forward to offer to host the event, which will take place later this year. In addition, as the next highest-rated team in the World Ranking, Ukraine has been asked to replace Russia in the competition line-up.

The 2019 FIVB Men’s World Cup was held in Japan from October 1 to 15, 2019. It was the 14th iteration of the tournament. The competition was won by South American powerhouses Brazil, who claimed their third title by winning all 11 matches. Can they repeat that success this time around? You certainly wouldn’t bet against it.
