The British Grand Prix returns for 2014 after a year off, and you can watch all the action streamed live from Manchester, England.

Preview:

The AJ Bell British Grand Prix, which is part of the PSA World Tour, was founded in 2010.  The first two editions of the tournament were won by Egyptian Ramy Ashour and the competition was a partial replacement of the British Open Squash Championships, which were suspended in 2010 and restarted in 2012.

The British Grand Prix 2014 has a prize purse $70 000 and is held at the National Squash Centre from Friday, December 5th through to Monday, December 8th.

England’s Nick Matthew is the defending champion after beating fellow countryman James Willstrop 4-11 11-6 11-9 11-5 in the 2012 edition.

The 2013 was not held because the World Championship was being held, so Matthew returns to Manchester looking to defend his title.

Frenchman Gregory Gaultier is the number one seed for the British Grand Prix, while Mohamed El Shorbagy from Egypt is ranked second.

Defending champion Matthew is next in line ranked third with Borja Golan from Spain in fourth.  While Englishmen Peter Barker and Daryl Selby are fifth and sixth respectively.

World number nine from Egypt Tarek Momen has been forced to withdraw from Grand Prix after picking up a foot injury during the ReidBuilt Homes Edmonton Open.

As a result, Frenchman Mathieu Castagnet, currently ranked a career high World number15, will move up in the draw to occupy the number eight seeding which will see him face a qualifier in the opening round.

The amended draw in full is as follows:

AJ Bell British Squash Grand Prix 2014 – Main Draw:
[1] Gregory Gaultier (FRA) v [WC] Richie Fallows (ENG)
Chris Simpson (ENG) v [5] Peter Barker (ENG)
