SuperLega Cremdem Banca Semi Final Series

Cucine Lube Civitanova and Itas Trentino will continue their semifinal series. Lube, the defending SuperLega Credem Banca winners, rallied in the third match of their playoff series to keep their postseason hopes alive.

On Thursday evening, Argentinean setter Luciano De Cecco was named man of the match. De Cecco organised Lube’s offence tactics and used his magic to help the squad reach a 62 percent total success rate in their attacks. De Cecco led Lube to a 3-0 (25-16, 25-19, 25-17) victory in front of over 2,500 fans at the Eurosuole Forum, earning the MVP award.

De Cecco added his name to the scorers’ list with an ace in the first set. Ricardo Lucarelli of Brazil had a game-high 15 points, including two aces and a block. Trentino’s lone player to reach double figures was Italian opponent Daniele Lavia, who tallied 11 points.
